To you salsa fiends tired of chopping, I highly recommend this

This is the Dynacube vegetable chopper. I waffled on getting this for a long time but finally bit the bullet. Making salsa goes sooo much faster.

I got the 3/8” grid

Wow the output is pretty consistent looking lil cubes, would make a nice pico for sure. Is it a pain to clean afterwards?

Holy shit, is this seriously $540??

    I love pico.

    But not that much.

In California, I can find $7.00 containers of “fresh” Pico de Gallo(16 oz.) in local supermarkets. (Remember, we are talking about California!)

So, *77 containers* roughly equals the price of one chopper unit.

(Excluding taxes, trips to the grocery store, cost of ingredients.)

Gotta pass on that machine. Alternately, go into business with the neighborhood kids’ lemonade stand to sell, sell, sell tons of Pico de Gallo… and recoup the cost. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

I prep in a Mexican restaurant. This is the superior way to make 100lbs of Pico every other day. Highly recommend if you’re making hundreds of pounds of Pico a week. At home I let my knife do the work. Not worth the investment for Pico for two people every few months.

That is hilarious you have that for your house. I also used one in a professional environment.

    550$, and it’s a hand crank….?

This post is either marketing, or you’re in denial about how stupid this is.

I’ve been making pico all my life, would always do it the old fashioned way. Some years back I found a machine that actually works.

This is the one I swear by. It does the tomatoes perfectly and everything else for that matter. Highly recommend. I can make a big batch in 3 minutes flat. High quality and it doesn’t get dull.

Come on folks, remember snob is in the sub name

Those are the absolute bomb! I highly recommend. We used to do 30kg of tomatoes for our salsa fresca. I’d say an 80% time saver. Great for chopped onions as well.

For 500 usd I will smoke a joint and get to work 😂

Don’t know why this popped up on my feed but we used these tomato dicers in the restaurant and it was fantastic

Unless you’re feeding tons of people, this is a waste.
You might as well spend that money on a nice knife, a nice whetstone, and a nice strop.
Then learn how to prep fast.

I can see where that cost could be justified by a restaurant or a store that makes their own salsa/pico.
